Tokyo a la Mode

So I was at this great indie craft fair, Felt Club, this past Sunday afternoon and was approached by the owner of an on-line Japanese Fashion Magazine to be photographed for his site. I absolutely love Japanese fashion and fabrics so I was quite thrilled to learn of his business. Check it out!

I bought this green number at a great vintage shop in Austin on South Congress.

UPDATE: I have no idea how I missed this the first time I saw it (probably because I was so disturbed by the marshmallow/snowmanish figures), but the pedestal they are on looks exactly like a piece of chocolate and a graham cracker.... This company has to know they're selling a s'more nativity scene...there's no way that can be a coincidence.

An Addition to our Family: Meet Hux!

I'd like for you all to meet the newest addition to the Grubbs's household, Huxley Phineas (Hux Finn). He's 10 weeks old and weighs in at a whopping 2.1 pounds. He and Hurley are getting along beautifully and chasing each other all over the house.
